When (If) they make the Finals I will still be a reserve unless someone is sick or dead. I am a too erratic bowler for them. Too Much aggression. Whatever, I certainly won't change my way of play for anyone.

Results today Musgrave Won 3 Rinks to Paradise Point 2 Rinks.
I was there to watch the games and the green ran lovely with a tricky cross breeze.
TRIPLE game with Alan Brough, Robbie Dobbins and Grant Osborne had a tough game against Ian (Tak), Lovey and Owen Patch who certainly knew their home ground. Was 17-24 for Musgrave and Musgrave were on fire but Paradise boys kept them honest. Grant had some lovely wicked drives but overall was a good game with Paradise always just behind.
FOURS game with Gordon Simms, Gary Metham, Alan Grossett and Sam Granata had a close game but ended up going down by a few shots in the end.
SINGLES with Peter Thompson against Rod Napper. What a good game and Peter Thompson managed to win 31-27 but Rod never game up, Kept his composure and pulled off some great shots to stay close but just fell short but Peter Bowled very well.
PAIRS with Ian Brighton and Ray Glasser was close for the first half of the game against Chris Hoopers team from Musgrave. The game changed when Musgrave holding a couple of shots and attempted to take out a Paradise Bowls for 6 shots. Chris drive was narrow but managed to connect with another bowl which in turn took out his target and Paradise dropped a 6. from then on Paradise struggled and went down 16-33.
PAIRS with Ken Roberts and Troy Corba was a thrilling game against Ron Boucher and Peter Elder going down to the last bowl. Was tight and anyones game all the way but Troy won it with his last Bowl 21-20. Was a good combination for both sides and a good game to watch.
I Hate watching Bowls as I would rather be playing. I had a sore arse sitting for 4 hours but did manage to conduct some business and sell 2 sets of Bowls while at the club so not a totally wasted afternoon.
Musgrave have a strong side and Paradise Put it up to them this afternoon and only home team advantance was the difference in the end I feel. Paradise Point Will qualify for the finals with their gutsy performance today. Just hope I get to be a part of it but not wishing for another to miss out on sickness etc. Happy to be a Reserve at this stage as the teams firing pretty well in most parts.
