Slow Top Green after the Rains and I handled it pretty good. We had a very good game and Gordon and I had a real good battle of Leads. Latif played ok but it was Millsie who starred again on the day. At least 5 times we held 5 shots and with his last bowl either drew or cut down on each occasion. Even the last end when we had won previous 4 ends to be just 17-20 behind and holding a draw with a good 3, Millsie came in and drew 2nd shot on the wide windy hand. We went down 18-20 when we could have won by heaps but for Millsie. It happens and was great to watch.
Paradise have a good Bowler in Millsie and should reward him with a good spot in a higher division if he plays pennant with this and his form this year in District Mixed Pairs Final and other events has shown he can certainly Bowl.
