Been a Shitty week and not been at my best. Last Weekend had terrible stomach cramps which i it down to eating Sprouts and Veggies only. Last 2 days been ok and almost took myself to hospital but a Suppository done te trick,, Last 2 days was fine but slept wrong last night and food never settled and felt sick and back ache from laying wrong so up at 12 Midnight in and out of bed, Don’t feel like Bowls Today, I cancelled Yesterday with Charlie as not up to,it with my back also. . If I bowl today with Bob Atkinson will be my last till I feel like it again, Been selling a few bowls which had kept me busy, Got my weight down to 90.1 KG yesterday morning from 95.5kg 2 weeks ago. Mo Sugar or Sweets or Alcohol and salt cut out too. I hate going to Dr but might have to have tests if problems carry on.. Wife working today and up at 4.30 so will take her and come back and see how i am before pulling pin on bowls.. I hate letting Bob Down. I Never Bowled Today and pulled the pin indefinatly. I made my self sick this morning before taking wife to work. All Acid… Anyway, I worked through the day on and off eating yougurt and small things and don’t feel too bad this evening. I did get to Chiropractor for special appt as bad has been killing me. He fixed up lower back but all day still suffering with Between shoulders and constant strain and ache when stand form too long. Have To have scans I suppose amount other things. Next week expecting about 10 sets Bowls people are sending me as been held up over all the long weekends. Might have more to sell then as Stuff all left Not sure when next post will be. Take Care everyone,, Hi again, Been Busy.
Easter was ok, Family mainly and nothing to report what i can remember.. Ok, Wednesday 20th I Bowled at Southport with Charlie Laws and had a Good game against Terry and Muir Hutchinson, We ended up winning 29-20 with 11 ends to 10 and a 6 and 7 helped us get up in a Very Good Game. These 2 Bowled Well. I was Lead and Charlie Skipped, We Both played pretty well so I was please after only 2nd game in over 4 Months, Yesterday at Paradsie Point I played with Bob Atkinson now my regular Partner against Barry Alderdice and Gordon Simms. Had a Good game and Bob played extremely well as lead as been released from constant instructions from his last partner. We went down 15-21 in a Good Game and Barry Playhed very well with his Bowls Arm and Gorden was on song early with his conversions. I played some good shots but let bowl down on a few occasions. A Team Pulled out so we had 2 Bowl triples. Seeing as I was not sure how I was going to bowl I played 2nd with Mal Leading (A Newish Bowler) and Bob Atkinson skipping., We played Adrian, Kim Harlow and Boobs!!! We started steady and through the game were getting a few good ends but Only 1’s where as they picked up 3 and 4’s. We went down 14-38 but I felt liked id never been away and played some good shots dispute my back giving me hell for all the game. Bob Played some good Bowls after a slow start but They were too strong for us, Had 2 Good drives and 2 Great results from both but Draw game was ok. Anyway Was good to be back. Hope I can continue next week without Back or Dizzy Problems. News to Report, Freddie Barnes and Lloyd Nash put on a fine display next To us, Both Bowling a Wrong Bias egged on by Ralph who made sure that Brownie heard from Ormeau., I Rushed home as Wife wanted a Fan Installed which I bought and it is now over her Lounge, Nice and Bright too., Still Low on Bowls and Listed 2 Sets last night and Both sold today, Should be quietish Easter and Family Coming round Sunday. Going to see my Sons New Business at Tugun Tomorrow., CARABOU Coffee shop. If you are passing drop in for a coffee and say Bernie Sent you. I am relaxing now and ache i just home I don’t get cramp in the night. Not Sure how many days is been but not much happening at present just normal stuff, Today Wednesday and wife at work early and its 5.,55am now so thought I’d write a few lines. Bowls Tomorrow at Paradise Point and hope i nget through they game as been getting back spasms like cramps when I stand up for too long. This morning going to Southport Bowls to pick up some sets for sale. I have not had too many sets to sell of late but some i do get are not even hitting the sites as sold with a phone call to people who want things on my list, Have started a diet with No or hardly any sale to try and get Bloody pressure down. Drinking Beet Root Juice for Christs Sake., Actually its quite nice. Cooled Brocilli and Cauliflour stir fry with heaps of Onions and Thats Great. Lentails with Ginger, Garlic and Chillie also Terrific and can use It as Soup or with Rice. Fish Curry yesterday and no salt. Used Egg Plant and Peas instead of potato’s…
Taking Daughter to Motor Transport this morning as she’s on holiday for a week and wants to get a New I.D Card as she does not have a Drivers Licence. Current watching JERSEY BOYS Movie on Netflix. About Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Good so far. Will finish it tonight when wife gets home. Ok., Weetbix, Skimmed Milk, Prunes, Cranberries, Walnuts for Breaky. Keep me regular, Well actually after the shit I eat I have to have a Timetable… Should be a quietish Easter although family will come round Sunday I expect. In Case I don’t log on before then, Have a Great One… Another Weekend here although 1 day to the next is the same for me.,
I went to Dr This morning which I absolutely hate, to get a new blood pressure script as last 6 months one run out. I know I have High Bloody pressure and saw a different Dr and he freaked when he saw my Blooid pressure so doubled my dose as asked me to monitor it daily and come back in 2 weeks. Fat Chance, If I am still alive in 6y months wil Gino back again and face the same shit. I am always Hyper and on the go and eat all the wrong shit although do take some care but i can’t go through all the rests and shit they will have you go through to test after test., What Happens Happens. Anyway Sold a Bowls Arm and a Measure Today, Not many Bowls to sell until net week when some are arriving. Will be steady until i can get back into the clubs and se people who will be waiting for my resturn to sell their bowls. Rained today which was a sham for the bowlers. Still some finals fop the 7s onto. Bowling Next Thursday at Paradise Point but until then just doing this and that., Cooked Meatball curry this morning and Daughter and a Son came with families for Lunch. The Women have waddled off to Priceline to look at more Perfumes and Sprays etc and my Son has gone to buy a Computer off Marketplace. Watched 2 good movies on Netflix, Jarhead 2 and 3, Pretty good actually as I like war movies. Daughters place just about finished now and just a few paintings and odds and sods. They have got used to Gas Cooker after never having one before. Plenty of Tourists around as School Holidays and weekend of Course. The Paradise Resort have their kids entertainment as usual for weekends and we can hear all the songs we get every weekend. In fact if they ever have the compare sick, I could fill in for him as I know every phuking word !! The swimming pool in our resort has cooled down now as summer sun almost gone but indoor one if heatedl. Grand kids never asked to go today which was a surprise. My Son has Bought a Business in Tugun, A coffee shops but is having trouble finding staff, Baristas, A Cook etc Full time and Part time. Np One wants to work. Too many handouts from Govenment. Getting tired as all alone here while the are all out at shops. Surfers Paradise looks Shit to Tourist I bet. Half the shops closed ever since the G Link when it all started. Roadworks and Buildings going on everywhere, Certainly not a nice picturesque place to come for a Holiday. Broadbeach I should imagine would be far more attractive., I can never see Surfers Shops full again. There is just the Main stretch but most businesses fail as very seasonal. Daughter and her Boyfriend have moved into their New Place and almost have everything as Their Sydney Stuff was delivered yesterday so place is a bomb site until its all put away, I think my Daughter is hiring a Garage sized Storage unit for her bloody shoes., If she was a Bloke I would call her WILLIAMS THE SHOEMAN. She would need to be a Marathon Running Octopus to wear out the heaps of Pairs of Shoes. I own 1 Pair with Air Conditioned Toes (Holes in) and another for best, Mine are so well trained they run to me when i call them mainly as They STINK as I don’t wear socks and sweaty Feet. I can always find them in A Dark room as I just follow my nose. My Wife asks, What’s That Smell”. I say, I’ve Just opened the Brocilli !!!! Electrician is coming today to put up 3 Fans. They have Airconditioning but still nice to have the Fans, They will have lights on them also. Couch also arriving. It’s that big it would house a Football team. 75 Cm TV is up on wall mount looks Great, Offices are all set up and they are working from home and its really cosy, We are going over today with Winnie, Sons Dog who i have been looking after all week and one of the reasons I’ve been busy apart from Bowls Sales. Only have 5 Sets for Sale at Present and 2 of them are Cannon Balls from 1066. More coming but selling as soon as they arrive and are listed, I have a list of Bowls that people want and find bowling arms for people at the right price online. Wife’s off for 2 days from work as only works 3 days every 2nd week. Went to Bunnings yesterday and bought some Brooms and Mops wife wanted. Ok.. Today will be busy. Have a Trip to Paradise Point to get a partner for next Thursday as I am allowed to Bowl again as Us Syphlitic Uninjected are allowed back into the clubs without restrictions, Lost my Good Partner Fred Barnes for Thursday as hes settled with my mate Lloyd. Don’t think they have lost a game since being together the last 4 months. I like playing indoors Thursdays so have to get someone who has to play indoors as a partner otherwise i have to go outside. Will be playing at Southport Wednesday 20th April with My Good Mate Charlie. Hope we can stick together Wednesdays but I hope too that I can play well and my back holds out. I must say the last 4 months has been good not walking up sore every day after bowls. Will see how Back Holds out and Hip, Knee and Migrains, I suppose i can live with that oppose to what other people have and are going though. It will be nice to see the many Bowlers around the grounds who ask me to sell their Bowls as not being allowed in grounds I have not seen some of them for over 4 months although i have been so busy with Bowls I sell for Interstate Bowlers and Recommendations from 18 years or trading, Up early today as had a snooze yesterday afternoon and woke 3am today, Good time for Diary as can’t concentrate when wife is watching Crazy Mike and his Murder files on YouTube,. I watch very little TV. Internet keeps me busy, Like to watch a good movie from time to time but they are usually shit, Have my 600 DVD Collection which i watch best movies over and over again, It’s good as I can’t remember what happens most times lol. Weather has settled a bit this week but rain forecast again Today, Ok All for Now . Soccer on at 4.30am Live. Daylight Saving finished in NSW last weekend so games an hour earlier for me now. I wish we had Daylight saving here. The extra Hour sunshine in the evening might help my hair grow back, Well, Daughter and Boyfriend moved out today. Finally took the balance of their stuff over and settled them in.
Lovely place they have and just spent $520 on supplies, We Miss The Birds and I hope they learnt some nice songs from me. Went home and cleaned up place.. Lovely Summers Day for a change like we are used to getting but this summer has been shit. Visited Southport Bowla Club this morning and their Nw Manager Glen has got the place rocking. Working really hard and had a Great Night Friday night and Bowls is also being revamped with Evening Bowls for Social and trying to get the ENDURO Monday Bowls back on. Once I am allowed back in Club i will be able to promote All Day Events and I will get back to Bowling Wednesday and Saturdays again. Hope the body up to it. Back to normal for me, Only a few sets of Bowls for Sale at Present but more coming tomorrow to list and sold a set today. Wont have to cook every day now we are on our own, Simple stuff and left overs for next day. Quiet Day Yesterday Cooking and General House Stuff,
My Home office is the 2nd Bedroom and when I am packing I make a terrible mess with cardboard shaving so bought a little hand held Vacuum for $28 on Line. I expected it to SUCK Big Time but it actually Sucks Well.. Keeps the place tidy., In Fact its great for Birds feather and in fact I got enough on the first Suck to fill a Pillow. Daughter had work as usual and went out in evening to get some final things for her apartment and they move in today. Setting up office so work can commence Monday. They work ion Sydney time so seeing as Clocks change for NSW Tonight they wrong have it start til 7.30am which is a great relief to them as they hate the early 6.30am start in Summer. Last night thought we’d watch a Movie on Disney Channel and Murder on the Otrient Express. Unfortunatly it lost me when the Inspected started talking. I made more sense of the Cockateils chirping in he backgrounds, I hate movies where i have to think. Today Wife and Daughter going to Casino to throw money in stupid machines so the Casino can build yet another hotel. No Brains some people, I have to pick up some Bowls 1pm to sell. Had 2 sets yesterday I Listed but Only sold a Bag. Sending Bags by Post is Expensive, Hard to pack too…. Anyway …. See what else happens today. My Son Jeremy working in Tamborine Mountain for 4 Days on Call with Ambulance Service, Shannon, has bought his own Coffee shop in Tugun and is working there Sunday to see the staff and see what he needs to do. Partners with his Boss in other shop Ventures., It Truly is The Best Coffee on the Coast but hard to get staff. Ideal position for people who want morning work as have afternoons free. Coffee shops 5 til 2pm and all over then. Needs a Morning Chef for Tugun Business to start in a week or so when he officially takes over the Business. He’s been looking for a while, He will still work with his current Boss and share his time between businesses. OK, Yesterday Daughter had a day off work and we spent the day doing last shopping in the SUV for my daughter
Godfrey’s checking out the Stick Vacuum cleaners but They All SUCKED so we left there. Trip to Fantastic Furniture to finally ordered her Lounge suite and Coffee Table and we got the Coffee Table in the SUV. Lounge a couple of weeks away. Spotlight next to get Bathmats, Towels, Pillows etc $150 later… Bunnings next after wiz around the light shop to see the Fans and Lights it not impressed with what they had Ended up at Bunnings buying 3 Fans, Washing line, Washing Basket, Brooms, Mat for Office floor so Chair slides easier.. Then Big W and Dyson Vacuum 40% off so that’s was a purchase and a Kettle. A Big Clock for Lounge was also obtained. Took it all back to her apartment when her partner was suicidal and still building IKEA from last Saturday, After Numerous lift trips up to apartment we put all inside and I came home Nackred again, Cooked Dinner and had a night sorting out Bowls Sales and Listing some bowls. TODAY. They were after a Spare Desk so I drove to Burleigh and picked up a Freebee as money running low. Delivered that to Apartment and Picked Wife up from work on way home… The Only Problem with the desk is it only has 3 Legs but that’s ok as the lady said when she finds it she will let us know. Daughter can use her knee to Balance the 2 Computers and Printer and should be ok providing she doesn’t get cramp. The Chair actually helps to Compensate for the missing table leg as it only has 3 wheels so is on an angle but that’s ok with Daughters other foot she can compensate for that, Getting the desk home was another Triumph as 1.8 Metre long meant i was 2” from windscreen and felt like I had 1 nut under each ear. Hoping I never got rear ended once again to avoid a desk top through my skull. I Think I might buy a Getz next time as capability of Carrying Lunch Boxes only. So Rains stopped, Bowls were on at Broadbeach Today but Off at Mermaid Beach. Should be back to normal at most places tomorrow. Talking Of Missing Legs…. My Dad had Varicous Veins and they had to Amputate his left leg but due to the Dr being Dyslectic and Ambidextrous he took off the wrong leg. When he woke he complained to the Dr and The Doctor said “I wont make the same mistake again”. My Dad said he was going to sue But The Dr Said, “Don’t Bother, You wont have a leg to Stand on” |
